Remarkable Makers

At Loch Lomond Whiskies we strive to explore new depths of flavours, pushing the boundaries of our whisky making capabilities and elevating the already remarkable nature of our spirits.

Our Remarkable Makers series sees us expand our search for innovation and adeptness in particular crafts by partnering with like-minded creators, makers and craftspeople from different industries to inspire our future endeavour.

Introducing genevieve taylor

An accomplished chef, Genevieve Taylor is the author of 12 cookery books and is fascinated by the science of cooking over fire. Genevieve is inspired by her lifelong love of nature and sustainability, with her recipes specifically created based on the seasonality and locality of ingredients.

Genevieve explored our whisky-making world and was introduced to Loch Lomond Steam & Fire before we witnessed her culinary mastery, as she prepared a delectable meal for our hardworking team members, using our whisky to elevate her dishes.

introducing bread ahead

Founded in 2013 and based in London’s vibrant Borough Market, the hugely popular bakery Bread Ahead has become a destination for both Londoners and food lovers from across the globe.

We’ve worked with the team at Bread Ahead to showcase the journey they take to craft their beautiful artisanal bread, to help inspire a new appreciation for the importance of both ingredients and process. Our partnership explains the role of yeast in the whisky-making process and uncovers the story of our new Distillery Edition, which has been crafted using chardonnay wine yeast, an unusual and innovative ingredient in the world of whisky-making.
